Description
A mixed case of Pinot Noir, the Pinot Paradise mixed case is a must for fans of the Pinot Noir grape. It contains several different styles of Pinot Noir (2 bottles of each) from New Zealand, Burgundy, South Africa and the USA.
These six different Wines with Attitude are all from my main list. I don’t include any cheap “fillers”. What they have in common is that they are all well made and of excellent quality.
Check out my other mixed cases.
What's Included?
2 x Domaine Bachey-Legros Santenay “Clos des Hâtes” Vieilles Vignes 2020
This is a particularly expressive, old vine, single vineyard Pinot Noir with a lovely velvety mouthfeel; a real treat and good value for what has become an expensive region.
2 x Masut “Estate Vineyard” Pinot Noir 2018
A fabulous Pinot Noir from the USA – cool climate Eagle Peak Mendocino County; rich with blueberries and bramble fruits, this has backbone, balance and a super smooth texture; very elegant.
2 x La Vierge ‘Noir’ Pinot Noir 2016
Mouth-watering, fruity Pinot Noir from Hemel en Aarde in South Africa with red fruit flavours like raspberries & redcurrants that you expect from a cool climate Pinot Noir and more mature fruit, baked cherry, spicy, leathery and mushroom notes that you might see in a Burgundian Pinot.
2 x TWR / Te Whare Ra Pinot Noir 2018
An exceptional Marlborough Pinot Noir with red fruits, silky smooth texture and, in addition, elegance. A seriously refined wine loved by many judging by its scores and accolades.
2 x Pegasus Bay Pinot Noir 2020
Once again another fabulous vintage of Pegasus Bay Pinot Noir combining New Zealand depth and body with Burgundian elegance; in fact I think it gets more elegant each year. And as always a rich texture and a mouth-watering, long, long finish.
2 x Willakenzie Estate “Pierre Léon” Pinot Noir 2013
A fabulous Pinot Noir from Oregon; full of cranberry & bramble fruit flavours, this wine has backbone, balance and a super smooth texture; very elegant.
